As many of you know, Studio Artists Gallery has been showing a variety of artists' works for nearly four years now, the beginning was in September of 2006. As time went by the numbers of people who were involved at the gallery grew and we got a chance to interact with so many talented and fun people. It has been great working with so many wonderful people but changes are in the air. Since about September of 2009 we became aware that the State of California is intending to build a new Court House here in Woodland and that the site they have selected is the block here where our gallery sits. As such, we are in a unique position and one that wasn't even imaginable when we started way back in '06. After much thought and deliberation we have decided to phase out the group artwork and classes and go to a personal working studio for a few artists during the remainder of time we have here, be it 6 months, a year or what have you.

To begin the process we plan to go to hours by appointment during July and August, 2010. Classes are winding down and we will be here during times when classes are in session or when working on a project but not all the time. During this time you are welcome to visit the gallery by contacting us to arrange a visit. Please do email or call to check in, we'd love to hear from you.
